Urine Drug Testing

Urine drug testing is the industry standard for substance abuse treatment programs to identify the presence of drugs or alcohol.  Urine drug testing has a longer detection time than blood or saliva and is critical in helping treatment programs to keep their clients clean and sober.  Our laboratory services include a large test panel of drugs and alcohol and can be customized to the needs of your organization.

Medication Monitoring

Regular urine drug testing has been recommended by national & state practice guidelines for physicians prescribing opioids for chronic pain patients.  Urine drug testing is a valuable resource for holding patients’ accountable to their therapeutic goal, through verification of adherence to their treatment plans.  Accurate and reliable urine drug testing can determine the absence or presence of your patients’ prescribed medications, non-prescribed medications or illicit drugs.

State-of-the-Art Technology

Our laboratory services use High Complexity Immunoassay Analyzers (EMIT) for the initial screening test, which are highly sensitive in differentiating between positive and negative classes of drugs.  Additionally, specimen validity is tested to determine if the specimen was altered.  Liquid Chromatography/Triple Quadruple Mass Spectrometers (LC/Tandem MS) are used for all quantitative confirmation testing for both high sensitivity and specificity.
